Hill Country Metro Marines Board Member Trevor Whitney has been appointed to serve on the Texas Veterans Commission's Veterans Communication Advisory Committee. The volunteer advisory role will focus on creating recommendations on how the State of Texas can better communicate with veterans about State-run programs, resource and benefits.
Trevor was an active duty 1833 Amphibious Assault Vehicle crewman from 2004-2008. He leads the public relations for Hill Country Metro Marines and is the President of Whitney Public Strategies, which provides web design, marketing, and strategic communication services for veteran owned businesses and organizations.
On November 10, 2018, over 1,000 Marines, sailors and family members came together to celebrate the Marine Corps' 243rd birthday. The event was a huge success, and will continue to grow. A special thanks goes to all the volunteers who helped organize the Ball, and to those who donated time, money and energy into making it a success.
